Privacy

Who: Planet X · Journey to the Edge is an independent, non-commercial educational project.

What we collect, and why: only what you type into a form, and only after you tick its consent box. Newsletter: your email, frequency, consent time and where you signed up, to send the newsletter you confirmed. Pro waitlist: your email and consent time, to send one email if Pro launches. Transmissions: your message and rating; your email only if you switch on "Ping me", to reply once.

Where: a private Google Sheet owned by the project, reached through Google Apps Script. Never sold, shared or used for ads.

No tracking: no analytics, no advertising or social trackers, no fingerprinting, no cookies. Settings (tour seen, music volume, quality preset, explored %) are kept in your browser's local storage on this device only.

Third-party content: some files load from other hosts, which see your IP address like any website: Wikimedia Commons (music, only if you press play), GitHub (NASA 3D models), gstatic.com (Draco decoder).

Your rights (India's DPDP Act 2023): you can withdraw consent at any time (one-click unsubscribe in every email), ask what we hold, ask for correction, or have your data erased using the form below. Newsletter sign-ups use double opt-in: nothing is sent until you click the confirmation link.

Retention: until you unsubscribe or ask for deletion; unconfirmed newsletter sign-ups are removed periodically.
